Description: For my senior capstone, I created, directed, scripted, and animated an original cartoon titled Eastern Coast Raid & Plunder, intended for release on YouTube. The story follows Jack and two crewmates who steal a pirate ship to embark on a high-seas adventure in search of Captain Sulley’s lost treasure, encountering challenges and comedic moments along the way.

Inspired by the cartoons I loved as a child, which sparked both laughter and creativity. I began designing characters based on my friends and expanded the universe with the help of my collaborator, Jacob Lymberopoulos. The project was designed to entertain young adults through humor, engaging characters, and imaginative storytelling.

To complement the trailer’s premiere, I also designed three custom t-shirts. The debut screening of the trailer was held at the McCoy Gallery at The Rogers Center for the Arts in April 2024, showcasing the animation and merchandise as part of a full creative presentation. This project combined animation, character design, narrative development, and audience engagement, reflecting a comprehensive approach to original content creation.

Christmas Break On a Budget!

Breathing Lungs

Description: Animation was used to demonstrate proper breathing techniques can reduce anxiety. I first started to brainstorm what the graphic could be which I had created with a smiley, heart, and a pair of lungs. My strategy was to find an educational graphic that also could have a warm feeling that could help demonstrate proper breathing to help anxiety. The biggest challenge was finding a way to make a template that perfectly captured the timing it took to breathe in and out.
